Cabua-an Beach Resort has been our home away from home in Camiguin Island for two consecutive years now. For a business that has been around for more than two decades, Cabua-an surely don't disappoint. I for one have been a satisfied customer since my first stay so let me share my first time experience back in 2016.
Both kenn and I knew no one living in Camiguin, despite the fact that Kenn’s bloodline is rooted here while I on the other hand have been here few years back for camping thus a hotel room or lodge for the matter deemed unnecessary. Unsure where to book, we depend with the organizers of promote CMGN, Inc’s suggested accommodations that is only a walk away from Mambajao Municipal Hall. I texted all of it two weeks prior our stay but almost in unison I got one single reply, “fully booked ma’am”, except for Cabu-an Beach Resort. Without any other options, we booked a room for two nights stay.
As he opened the door to the lawn where we have to pass by, fresh air greeted me. And by the sound of sea breeze I am convinced the resort is worth a penny spent.
The cottages have verandas each; with shower and toilet; and cable TV. The room was spacious enough for two people. I even told Kenn it’s quite good to be a lovers’ nest minus the baby. <3
When the sky is clear, I can see a portion of the mountain somewhere northwest of the island as based on the sun. Thanks to my primitive compass.
I even checked out the beach front. There is a bridge worthy of a blogger pose but the water is too inviting as well for me not to take a dip with my boyfie.
Added to the homey feel, Cabua-an Beach Resort serves food from 7am – 10pm where you can eat in their dining area. But if you feel like lazed up to stay too long outside the cottage, you can eat up on the veranda. Just pay 10% of the total order for service charge.
